I wanted to ask when hyperlinking will be enabled - and specifically, will I be able to use links for protocols other than file:// & http:// - e.g. Outlook:,
onenote:/// (assuming of course these are registered with Windows)...
I would start using Cayra ahead of other tools as soon as hyperlinking is enabled. I would really appreciate a rough estimation as to when this capability will be released.
Thank you
How to hyperlink to file?
I wonder how to make link to a local folder on harddisk. The help file says the hyperlink should be like "file:///C:/My Maps/", but it just does not work (it says something like "file:///C:/My Maps/ file or folder doesn't exist"). Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance.
Oh - I just remembered how
Oh - I just remembered how important it would be to be able to drag and drop multiple files and have them either:
1. Create multiple hyperlinks to one Topic
2. But more importantly, for me, drag and drop multiple files to create equally multiple Topics each topic contains the hyperlink to its file.
If drag and drop was a little tricky, then an import function giving the option to import all as links to one Topic, or create separate Topics for each file
Next up would be the ability to do the same with Microsoft Outlook.
This would be the first dream ticket... :-)
Hyperlinks and more
Dear Ian,
I'm happy to tell you that we have implemented hyperlinks in the new Cayra version 0.9.0 :-) ..actually there're much more than just hyperlinks, you can also add other parameters to every node, such as date, time, text, numbers, etc.
Please tell me what you think of it :-)
hyperlinks
Dear Ian,
Thank you for your active participation in the project!
Hyperlinking is in our top list of features and as you can see by frequent versions updates it doesn't take much time to implement an important feature.
We're now considering several variants of documentation for this feature, but please be sure - your suggestions will be taken into attention.
