Like Word DOT files, would be nice to have a map template that could contain defaults like icon sets, initial nodes, etc. This is the same as having an existing document, opening and then choosing Save As. The difference is that clicking Save instead of Save As th first time will still prompt to Save As. Using the other method of opening an existing doc and saving as, I will invariably overwrite the document with changes that were meant to be a new document.
