It may be useful to have the "parameter visibility eyeball" for the note field as well. This would cause the note to be displayed on the node in the same manner as other parameters. Because of note length, maybe the note would only be displayed if the node was selected?

Or maybe clicking on the "this node has a text note" icon on the node would show the note in a tooltip or popup window or expand the node and add the note text? Then clicking again would hide the note text.

This way I could make my diagrams, then hide the properties panel, but still have easy access to all of the parameters instead of just to the simpler ones.
